YOKOHAMA Vietnam Festa in Kanagawa will be held from Friday, September 8 to Sunday, September 10 in Yokohama. The Business Program on September 8 will target business operators, and the Cultural Exchange Program on the 9th and 10th is open to the public.
The festival has been held since 2015 with the aim of deepening mutual understanding between Vietnam and Kanagawa Prefecture, and promoting continued growth and development in the future.
For Kanagawa-based companies considering advancing into Vietnam, the Business Program offers a valuable opportunity to hear about the latest investment environment of Vietnam directly presented by Vietnamese government representatives. Participants can also see informative presentations of Kanagawa companies doing business in Vietnam. (Advance application required.)
If you wish to experience culture and other charms of Vietnam, visit the Cultural Exchange Program. With a variety of contents, it has been very popular every year. The previous event, which was held last year after three years of consecutive cancellations due to the pandemic, successfully attracted 180,000 visitors.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan and Japan-ASEAN friendship and cooperation. It is expected that the event will be visited by even more people on this important occasion.
Do not miss the great chance to enjoy the annual traditional performing art of water puppet theater troupe, performance of folk music instrument Trung and many more offered in the program. Stalls and trucks serving Vietnamese food and booths selling Vietnamese fancy goods are waiting for you, too.
