Vietnam Airlines officially restored, on Monday February 13, its connection between Hanoi (Vietnam) and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) with a frequency of four flights per week, every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. On this occasion, Vietnam Airlines launched a preferential rate from 4,644,000 VND for a round trip (taxes and fees included).
The sale and departure opening time for tickets at the preferential rate applies from now until March 26, 2023. Passengers can purchase tickets on the website, mobile application and branches of Vietnam Airlines nationwide.
Currently, Vietnam Airlines operates the Ho Chi Minh City – Kuala Lumpur air link with a frequency of 11 flights per week. Thus, the resumption of operation of the Hanoi – Kuala Lumpur line makes it possible to complete the lines connecting Vietnam and Malaysia.
In 2019, more than 220,000 people were transported by Vietnam Airlines between Vietnam and Malaysia. Vietnam Airlines has restored most of its international routes, bringing the total number of flights operating on its international network to over 600 flights/week, or 70 percent of the operating frequency before the COVID-19 outbreak.
